Graeme began his career as an electronics engineer in the North Sea oil and gas industry. After a spell in business sales and then the emerging mobile telecommunications sector, he returned to his engineering roots in 1994 to design and sell computer networking and telecoms systems.Having joined IFB in 1996, Graeme has been involved in projects as diverse as the development of pre-PDA location based applications; the design and implementation of city-wide wi-fi; the development of distance learning software for further education and the design and commercialisation of IFB’s own UK network infrastructure. The business currently provides ISP and managed service support to companies of all sizes across the UK.Graeme is an active board member of ScotlandIS - the ICT trade body in Scotland and holds advisory academic board positions at Aberdeen and Robert Gordon Universities. He has spoken at a number of high profile events, including the British Chambers Conference in London when addressing the importance of public and private sector working.
