Work Experience:
During my university life I had different work experiences including working on open day events for prospective students and also work experience within a telemarketing agency over the summer months.
Upon graduation, I returned to the telemarketing agency that I had completed a summer placement in as a full time employee. I wanted to use my degree in marketing and languages more, within a global organisation. I started looking for jobs based on these interests and criteria, and was lucky to find and secure a job within the Communications Global Business Unit (CGBU) EMEA Marketing team in Oracle, where I have been for almost 1 year.
Skills Required:
A variety of skills are required for a Marketing Associate position within the CGBU EMEA Marketing team:
- Related academic degree and credentials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team work, time management and strong organisational skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work across events and campaigns simultaneously
- Familiarity with web based applications and information portals
